Helps

Obviously we’ve been slacking. Again. This time I won’t say I’m sorry. Life has thrown a mess at us, and things are very stressful right now.

My husband had sudden chest surgery, so that takes priority. I’m not going to share details here, but let me tell ya… This sucks.

I’ve added a Donate button on the right. This is something that I’ve been meaning to do anyway. If you would like to donate to Drunken Alchemy, and help out with funding the website or other antics and experiments… Please do.

If you would like to donate to help out with medical bills we will end up facing. Please do more.

Spammy spam

I’ve disabled the register link due to the amount of bot spam “users” we’ve been getting. We don’t really have any registered users only content at the moment, so it’s not a big deal.

If you really want to have an account here, and are a real person who will read the posts… Feel free to contact us and simply ask us to create one for you. Passwords will be sent to you.

“Things to drink… er… do” list

Suggestions have been made to have a “candy” section on the site. The idea is already there. Basically, once we actually have a large listing of drinks, we can categorize them to our own standards. Sure, we’ll have ingredient listings such as vodka, rum, etc. But hey, we’re here to have fun. Why not have categories like “Fuck you up” and “Son of a bitch!”? 😀

Yeah, that stuff will eventually show up. We also hope to have a drinking games list. Note, this doesn’t just involve movies. We’ll be messing with wholesome games like Candyland and Life. (Trust me, it’s fun. I played those with drinking rules in college once.)

Once again, time gets a huge fuck you. It definitely hinders the progress, and fun, that we can have here at Drunken Alchemy.

The Drunken Alchemist is awake! Sort of…

Ok folks, the Drunken Alchemist site is alive! It’ll be a while until it looks like anything worthwhile though. Lots of customization to do for the blog. And then comes the fun part of posting all the recipes! Cuz, you know, we have to get pictures of the drinks… In order to get the pictures, we have to make each drink as we post the recipes online.

However shall we survive? 😉
